Damn I hope this album doesn't end up like The Minstrel Show, where the title of the album seems promising but it ends up being just another regular ass rap record. Don't let us down Mr. Jones.
exactly.

I don't know man. I respect Nas and all, but this seems like it's just a publicity stunt.
I mean, we all expected Hip Hop Is Dead to speak on some real shit, and in the end ... it was just a Nas record. He shocked people into paying attention, and then didn't really build on the premise.
I'll wait until I hear that first single to decide.
I agree with creflo... and also...
Word? you didn't like the minstrel show? wow. to each his own i guess..
Nah, don't get me wrong. I loved The Minstrel Show, I just thought they should have actually followed the concept and spoke on the topic a bit more. It seemed like another rap record with a POWERFUL album title. That's like me having an album called The Truth Behind 911, and not saying a damn thing about it.
